This backyard was bare dirt when the owners purchased their home in a new SLO development. This client came to us with a specific vision in mind - to create a boutique hotel-like ambiance in their backyard space, and that’s exactly what we aimed to deliver. This modern, inviting space consists of a composite outdoor dining deck, a grill area, a large gas fire pit and paver patio with lounge seating, a custom Corten steel rain curtain water feature, Corten steel planters, a concrete slab walkway with Mexican pebble joints, a stainless steel cable trellis system with vines to create a privacy screen and a green backdrop to the lounge area, a synthetic turf play area for kids, Mediterranean climate and sub-tropical planting, string lights overhead, and low voltage landscape lighting.
